Historically known as a village and the nerve centre of 60’s culture, Chelsea is an exclusive area of London. Neatly nestled in the West of the city and bound by the River Thames, Chelsea has exclusive neighbours like Knightsbridge to the North, Fulham to the West and Kensington nearby too. Once frequented by the likes of Keith Richards, Mick Jagger and The Beatles, now Chelsea is the home of London’s super wealthy as well as affluent Americans and Europeans. With famous restaurants like Gordan Ramsey, The Ivy Chelsea and The Bluebird Café, locals are spoilt for choice when it comes to dining out. The Kings Road is world renowned and one of London's most prestigious shopping streets that runs from Chelsea all the way to Fulham. It hosts some excellent restaurants as well as a plethora of independent shops and cafes and is one of Chelsea's jewels.

Whether you are looking for a handsome mansion flat, a new home overlooking the river, a mews house or a grand and imposing, detached family home, any and all of these can be found in Chelsea. The 19th Century architecture of Chelsea is characterised by red-brick terraces and white mansion blocks surrounded by immaculate garden squares. Home to the Boltons and the Little Boltons, Chelsea has many enviable addresses.

Culture vultures can enjoy the cutting-edge plays at Royal Court Theatre and the latest films at the several cinemas in the area. The Saatchi Gallery is a Chelsea gem and the annual event of the Chelsea Flower Show is enjoyed by the locals. Museums like the V&A and the Natural History Museum bring tourists and local residents together too.

Chelsea is well connected by public transport, with two Zone 2 stations, Earls Court which is on the District, Circle and Piccadilly line, as well as West Brompton which provides District Line services. Gloucester Road is in Zone 1 and provides District, Circle and Piccadilly line services. There are numerous buses connecting Chelsea with central London, Shepherd’s Bush, Battersea and Hammersmith.
