Beaconsfield offers an ‘Old Town’ village feel twinned with all the modern conveniences in the ‘New Town’ – the best of both worlds.

Appealing to many discerning first-time flat/cottage buyers, upsizing families coming into the area for easy commuting and excellent schooling (local, grammar and independent alike) and equally to affluent down sizers searching for perfect proximity to quality amenities.

The Old Town is ‘picture postcard’ with a backdrop of historical buildings and offers a village atmosphere with bustling market held every Tuesday and Coopers Farmers Market once a month. There are multiple popular restaurants in both locations including Brasserie Blanc, The Crazy Bear Hotel with its English and Thai restaurants, The Giggling Squid, various Asian award-winning eateries, Prime Steakhouse as well as a healthy selection of gastro pubs, cafes and other style restaurants. Beaconsfield ‘New Town’, in contrast, located ¾ mile away, created when the railway arrived in 1906 has grown exponentially.

Beaconsfield often features in the ‘Top Ten Places to Live’ in UK national surveys.

Additionally, there are several very well-regarded golf, tennis, cycling and varied sports clubs and societies including Beaconsfield Golf Club, Beaconsfield Tennis Club and Beaconsfield Rugby Club as well as a Squash Club. The ‘New Town’ is also home to Bekonscot Model Village, the oldest model village in the world. Here you can find is a model of Enid Blyton’s Beaconsfield house ‘Green Hedges’ where she wrote many of her books.

Beaconsfield allows ease of commuting from its station in the heart of the ‘New Town’ 25 minutes (fast train) into London Marylebone and easy connections onto the M40 at Junction with onward access to M25, Central London and airports.
