Munster Village is a well-loved group of residential streets that make up a sizable portion of property opportunities in Fulham. These streets run off Munster Road and were so named by an estate agent (what a fun claim to fame). Thanks to the industrial revolution and subsequent property boom, the houses of these streets are generally terraced Victorian and Edwardian, often renovated with style. The house prices are lower than Munster Village’s neighbour Parsons Green and house hunters can often get more for their money. Residential houses range from the small Victoria cottages to mansion blocks and larger family homes.

Peppered with some great bars and restaurants, the area is a good place to start living in Fulham and a popular choice for young professionals and families. Our local expert James recommends Olive for great Italian and Fulham Kitchen for a warm space with comforting food.

The area is well-served by a range of Ofsted rated excellent schools, both primary and secondary. The schools in this are pre-dominantly private like Fulham Prep, Thomas’s, Parsons Green Prep and Sinclair House.

Being centrally located transport is not as great as in other parts of Fulham with the streets closer to Parsons Green tube (off Fulham Road) commanding a premium. That said the area benefits from being a quiet retreat but with the excellent restaurants of Fulham, be it in Parsons Green, Fulham Broadway or those that run the length of Fulham Road being only a short walk away.
