Fulham’s Alphabet Streets form a ladder up the west side and they leave a lasting impression thanks to the beautiful Victorian houses. Helpfully, they are named alphabetically from “B” to “N”. The locals are usually found in the local Bishop's Park, which provides the area with a lovely outstretch of green space for runners, children and dog-walkers alike. Bishop's Park also has a tennis court, bowling green and unique urban beach to boot and was recently refurbished with little expense spared. Fulham Palace is also a favourite that draws families from across Fulham with its sheltered gardens and beautiful Grade 1 listed building, the residence of the Bishop of London up until 1973.

Much-like the rest of Fulham, the properties on offer are mainly Victorian and Edwardian as the area experienced in a big property boom in the 19th century. The Alphabet Streets are substantially bigger than neighbouring roads and are as a result popular with families. Houses usually offer bigger gardens too. Flats in this area mostly look over Bishop’s Park’s tennis court and are often renovated with modern touches. If Victorian architecture isn’t your thing, there are also some newer developments, with a contemporary, waterside flat buildings like Chancellor’s Wharf and some eighties developments nestled elsewhere.

Bishop’s Park and the Alphabet Streets create a very self-sufficient part of Fulham. It feels very much like Fulham, but on a Sunday, calm with large open green spaces, and river views plus with the added benefit of easier parking. Not surprisingly it makes it extremely popular with families. This area is also home to London’s oldest Premier League football club: Fulham.

Transport links are excellent by car, with the A4 and M4 leading out of Heathrow close by. Tube links are often cited as being a little out of reach with Fulham Broadway and Parsons Green a hike away. Though Putney Bridge and the transport hub of Hammersmith are conveniently connected with frequent buses that run up and down Fulham Palace Road.
